Dr. Nicole Berlin is the Associate Curator of Collections at the Davis Museum, Wellesley College, specializing in ancient Mediterranean art and archaeology. She is also a lecturer at Johns Hopkins University, where she teaches a graduate-level seminar on provenance.
Berlin co-leads the international Excavating Antioch project and curates related exhibitions and programming. Her work focuses on Roman houses, mosaics, and archaeological archives, alongside broader questions of material culture and curatorial practice.
She holds a PhD in Art History and MA in Classical Archaeology from Johns Hopkins University, and a BA in Classics and Anthropology from Northwestern University. Berlin has held fellowships at Dumbarton Oaks, the Walters Art Museum, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
